The Managing My Fibromyalgia Forum© has been serving those with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome [aka fibromites] since '01. The Forum has helped many sufferers and their families in the isolation of this illness, to know that they are not alone in their battle with the Beast. Through the forum they learn that they share many similar experiences in finding a diagnosis and looking for relief from the many debilitating symptoms. Participants share tips, resources and information with one another and the many readers who admit to reading the messages in the Forum often, but do not actually participate on an ongoing basis. Since July of 2007, we were able to budget our resources to make the Forum free from all advertising.

October 2007 Yes, Donna A., I know what you mean. I have no history of drug (legal or illegal) abuse or alcohol abuse...but I'm treated like a crack addict on the street begging for another hit! A prescription for 2 LOW dosage percoset a day would let me function well enough to continue working most days and at least FEEL like a human for most of the time... I have a three year old with FMS and we need a Dr. We live in MN. and even the Mayo Clinic does not have a peds FMS specalist. Help! Hi everyone, I feel like a pity party. I realize I'm more fortunate than some of you, but I'm falling apart. The pain and exhaustion and not living and enjoying life has really hit me hard. I keep hoping that tomorrow will be a better day, but it never is. My life seems to be going totally in the wrong direction... Anyone find it hard when "waking up" to move arms, hands, or other parts of the body until you are fully awake? Has anyone here actually tried Lyrica? One of my doctors wants me to try it, but I have several reservations. First, is the expense. He has given me a 1 week free trial, but with my insurance the copay would be $100 a month and I cannot afford that, as my copays are already $500 a month. Second, I already take about... Some of you may have read about the many people who have achieved relief of their leg cramps by putting a bar of soap under the bottom sheet of their bed at the foot. I have read this in several different medical articles and decided to try it a while back. I don't have leg cramps - I have bad leg pain - but I do...
