Free health clinic set for March 12
A free clinic of interest to people with arthritis, fibromyalgia and arthritis-type diseases will be held in Bowling Green, Wednesday, March 12. The informative lecture will discuss treatments that are available for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases including research conducted by a major university.
Presented by the non-profit Helen Foundation, the one hour lecture is free and open to the public at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. It will be held at the Holiday Inn University Plaza located at 1021 Wilkinson Trace. I am glad I came upon your website because I have learned so much from your experiences. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last year. There were a lot of unanswered questions, I had that my doctor could not answer. I have a lot of the problems that you have.I am ever grateful that you have taken the time to share your life as a fibromyalgia patient. I had gone on a lot of websites and your site had enlightened me the most. I had difficulty walking, I did not know that fibromyalgia would cause one to lose their balance until I read your site. I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few months ago.All that my Dr said to me about it is "you have fibromyalgia, you will always have it,and there is nothing that I can do for you but give you pain killers."I have never felt so much pain and isolation in my life.
When I saw this site I cried for about 15 minutes just because I felt hope for the first time. Thank God for you. You have given me strength to try and fight for help. Thank you for sharing this information and for acknowledging fibromyalgia as a reality. I had come to question my own sanity before finding you. How Honest are you People?
Do you ever bother to tell your patients that 25 of 2r individuals diagnosed with this Fibromyalgia tested positive for Lyme Disease? Following that finding 103 patients with a variety of diagnoses ranging from Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis to Multiple Sclerosis and Lou Gehrig's Disease were tested. All 103 tested positive for Lyme Disease.. I know I'm one of them...
Now do you ever bother to tell your readers this or do you just allow them to feel sicker and sicker with a disease that will eventually kill them...
