Supplemental income, where to turn? One of the major problems I had to address as a person with fibromyalgia is its effect on one's livelihood. There were several times that I was sick enough to be out of work and other times when I had to adjust my work schedule to offset how I was feeling. Needless to say both situations had a negative effect on my and my family's income.

One way to compensate for lost income was to adjust our spending habits. Remember the old saying, A penny saved, is a penny earned. The next way I was able to compensate for lost income was to find some income alternatives. The best alternative was to find a way to generate income from home. I did quite a bit of research on work at home and home business opportunities. I picked my way through the many scams and get rich quick schemes. WOW!! Believe me, there are many out there! Thankfully I came across some legitimate opportunities on the Internet that can generate supplemental income. The good opportunities do take some time to develop.
